Radaan Talent Factory (Pvt) Ltd specialises in the production of entertainment programmes for television, such as daily soap operas, game shows, chat shows, dance and musical  programmes. Initially set up in 1999, to cater to the voracious appetite for programmes generated by the Group's own TV channels, Talent Factory is now today regarded as one of the leading independent television production company in Sri Lanka for all channels. In June 2003, Talent Factory entered into a joint venture agreement with Radaan Media Works (India) Ltd. This joint venture was undertaken with a view to augmenting its professional and creative capabilities even further.
Apart from having produced a number of outstanding Television programmes in Sri Lanka, the Company was the first to introduce game shows to Sri Lanka and is currently the number one producer of these shows. In addition, it also has the copyright for the production of many popular international TV formats. These formats are adapted to make programmes for the local market.
 The Company has also expanded into the TV soap opera market with several mega productions such as Vasuda and Kaawya. Vasuda is the first locally produced daily soap opera in Sri Lanka which has just passed its 650th episode. It is the highest rated locally produced programme in the country. In addition, the company expands into the other markets such as TV commercials and documentaries, areas where it has already made a large impact.
Talent Factory's success lies in the fact that it is more than just a television production company. Working closely with its clients, Talent Factory offers complete services in television production. It helps to develop new concepts in line with advertising and marketing objectives and strategies, and then implement these concepts by translating them into successful television programmes with high viewer ratings.
Television programmes currently on air which are produced by RTF :
 Today our programmes are covering the 7.30pm, 8.30pm and 9.30pm prime belts on weekdays of Sirasa TV. Also Saturday 8.30pm and Sunday 7.30pm belts are covered by RTF.
 Kageda Gee Nada : Monday @ 7.30 pm on Sirasa TV A family based, musical game show, it is the longest running game show in Sri Lanka. Over 600 episodes have already been aired on Sirasa TV and it is still rated as the most popular TV musical all Island/all channels. The very famous singer Naline Perera hosts the programme for last 9 years. The programme started in 1998 with the same host.
 Sawanata Wadanak : Tuesday @ 7.30 pm on Sirasa TV This is a family/celebrity based game show. Over 500 episodes have already been aired on Sirasa TV and it is rated as the most popular game show in its particular segment. Popular television presenter Buddhika Indurugalle hosts the programme.
Rasata Rasak : Wednesday @ 7.30 pm on Sirasa TV
This is a cookery game show between the families of celebrities and ordinary families.
The programme is hosted by a popular movie and television star Nilmini Thennakoon.
Tharu Mansala: Thursday @ 7.30 pm on Sirasa TV
This is a talent search for up and coming TV/movie actors and actresses produced for Sirasa TV. This also has started in 2003 and already over 175 episodes been aired. Popular actress Kanchana Mendis hosts the programme.
Ahanna Asai Gayanna: Friday @ 7.30 pm on Sirasa TV
A musical TV talent search which is also started in 1998. This programme is also having high viewer ratings. Over 500 episodes have already been aired on Sirasa TV. Popular singer Teesha hosts the programme.
Samavenna Sir : Saturday @ 8.30pm on Sirasa TV
This is a comedy series highlighting the malpractices happening in public institutes. |
Nethra : Sunday @ 7.30 pm on Sirasa TV
This is a dancing TV talent search targeted at the new generation. Rated the number one dancing TV programme in Sri Lanka, it is aired on Sirasa TV. Popular TV host Nirosha perera hosts the programme.
Soap Operas: To day RTF is the most experienced and leading soap Opera producers in Sri Lanka. RTF own the credit of introducing the first daily soap to the broadcasting business in Sri Lanka. Today we are producing two daily soaps namely Vasuda and Kaawya. We are delivering two episodes per day.

On 11th September 2006 RTF has launched its second daily soap on Sirasa TV. First week it self it has reached high ratings in the audience chart in all channels. Kaawya. For the last 5 years Kaawya has been in love with a guy called Kamal. As a happy couple they finally decided to marry with the blessings of their parents and other relatives. On their wedding day Kamal the bridegroom, does not turn up for the marriage ceremony. Later when asked by everyone he speaks out saying that because he is already married to someone else he cannot marry Kaawya.
